A Note About The Book of Ron
Thank you for taking a few moments to visit this website.
The Book of Ron is still being completed, so what you’ll find here over the coming months are individual stories that will eventually become part of the finished book. Every week or two, I’ll share another story, not simply for entertainment, but in the hope that it encourages reflection, conversation, and growth.
The story “The Third Stall” is the final story in the book. I chose to share it first because, in many ways, it captures the heart of everything I have been trying to accomplish. If you understand that story, you’ll understand the purpose behind the entire book.
This project was born from a simple belief: every person has an operating system uniquely shaped by God through the experiences, blessings, struggles, victories, and wounds of life. When we begin to understand our own operating system—and the operating systems of those we love—we begin to replace judgment with understanding, frustration with compassion, and distance with connection.
The book is intended to be read individually, but it truly comes to life when it is shared. Husbands and wives. Parents and children. Grandparents and grandchildren. Brothers and sisters. Friends. Sit together. Read a story. Look one another in the eye. Hold hands if you’re comfortable doing so. Then talk—not just about the story, but about the emotions, memories, and lessons it awakens within each of you.
Accompanying the book will be a workbook designed to help guide those conversations. The goal is not merely to read fifty stories. The goal is to use those stories as a bridge to better understand one another, strengthen relationships, and, I hope, bring healing where healing is needed.
As our website continues to grow, the stories you see posted here are simply glimpses into that larger journey.
My prayer each day is that the Holy Spirit will guide my words, my heart, and my purpose, allowing these stories to encourage others in ways I could never accomplish on my own.
