Evening Prayer — Somewhere Beyond the Horizon
Somewhere beyond the horizon, sailors and Marines stand their watch, just as generations before them have done. Their service deserves to be remembered, and their sacrifice must never be forgotten. May God watch over those who are in harm’s way. May He comfort the families who wait and pray for their safe return. Lord, thank You for giving me a way to honor those who have served, those who continue to serve, and those who gave everything for our freedom. Grant me the strength, wisdom, and perseverance to remain faithful to that mission. Amen.
